Marc Marquez, 2012 Moto2 champion.
Marquez has been absolutely one of my favourite riders to watch this season. I've never known any other rider to win a race from the back of the grid, and this 19-year old Spaniard did it twice! As many people have pointed out – his on-board cams were like video games – and he makes it look easy. I honestly can’t wait to see how he handles a GP bike next year. He’s likely to pose a threat to the aliens, but he's also quite likely to make mistakes as he gets used to the new bike and tyres. Without a doubt, he’s got the pace to fight for podiums, and I think soon enough he'll be fighting for victories.

PS: if you feel like wasting 52 seconds, this video is basically a summary of Marquez's talent this year. ( It's worth watching.
