I'm really pleased with how this came out! It was intended to be a pretty quick, messy, sketchy piece while I was watching the Moto GP Qualifying this morning, but it came out much better than I expected. I'm not a huge fan of Rossi's new helmet ( it probably means more to Italians ), but I wanted to do something with the Doctor on his home turf. Besides, I'm usually rubbish at drawing flowers and things, but these ones had some really fun textures to them.

I'm working on the next addition to the ballpoint pen series as we speak! It's Dani Pedrosa, and I'm really excited about it! I can't wait to show you!
Ps: I loved the competition between Jorge and Dani this morning! Every lap they were beating each other's records! Just amazing! And where did Héctor Barberá pull those lap times from!? Such a surprise for the front row!
